King's Island

So, we got a little group together from our church and took off for a day of fun at King's Island. As you can , tell, by the time this picture was taken, Keegan had just about had enough "fun". The weather was great, and the lines weren't "too long".

We went to a Dora the Explorer sing-a-long, Keegan has no idea who Dora is, but he enjoyed it anyway.

Me & my Keegeroos enjoying the show

We rode through Scooby Doo's Haunted House. They had these laser guns you could use to shoot all the scary stuff. As you can see, Chip took this task very seriously. Keegan on the other hand, wasn't impressed :).

Chip made sure the world was safe from ghost, goblins and skeletons.

We waited in a line full of frustrated toddlers for an hour to ride this "awplin"! I couldn't really see what the big deal was, but there must've been one, 'cause Keegan loved it! If you look really close you can see the two us

Keegan was absolutely mesmerized by the log ride.

Chip has a mouth full of sunflower seeds, hence the puckered chipmunk look :)

Slides and Choo-Choo Trains

Don't you just love that face! He had a blast, apart from a horrible train experience. We heard a train coming and since Keegan had never seen a train before we took off running so we could stand by the tracks and watch it go by. All was well until the whistle blew. Let's just say I think Keegan is going to have a fear of trains for the rest of his life.

I told him to "drive the car for the picture. As you can tell, I only got a half-hearted response.
Our happy little fam

Me & My Guy; hard to believe we've been married for five years in a couple of weeks. It really has been the best five years of my life!

A Day Outside With Keegeroos and Lexi Lou

Keegan and Lexi, they really are the best of buddies. No one can make Keegan laugh quite like Lexi can. Much of thier time together is spent with Keegan chasing Lexi crying because Lexi has discovered one of his toys, but he's always quick to forgive.

They love to jump on top each other, they usually get in trouble for this, but this time I allowed it long enough to snap a picture.

Lexi Lou: She's a sweet girl trapped inside a hyper mess of a body!

I'm still working on getting him to "cheese" for the camera. It's a work in progress :)

Me & My Lexi Lou, we have sort of a love/hate kind of relationship. But I've got to admit, I've really grown to love the girl.

Funny!

My ONE attempt at a picture of all three of us!

I have been hit with an urge to blog several times since my last post (which was forever ago). My problem is I have somehow misplaced my battery charger for my camera, and since my camera is deader than a doornail there is no hope. I am off today to price a new one, so hopefully I will be in full swing soon.

Purple skin, and pink hair!

I have always heard all these mother's talk about all of these horrible things that their kids got into, and have always sort of prided myself that Keegan has never really gotten into anything too bad. Well, I can now say that the phrase "pride cometh before the fall" is very true!

Keegan figured out how to get the lid off of the black Wilton icing coloring that I accidentally knocked out of my cupboard without knowing it. By the time I realized that this terrible thing was happening, he had dumped the whole bottle on the floor, rubbed it all in his hair, all over his legs and feet, and all over his high chair. I suceeded in cleaning up the mess everywhere, but Keegan had purplish skin, and pink hair for a few days.
I gotta say though, the punk rocker look did kind of grow on me!

I think it's about time to blog!

I know, I know! It has been forever since I've blogged. It's been very, very busy! Well, I'll get to what everyone is really interested in, the Pictures!
We took Keegan to his very first Cardinal's game. To my surprise, Keegan loved it! He sat through the whole thing, and even watched some of it!

Gotta love that cotton candy!

We took Keegan to the cincinatti zoo. He just loved the "kitties"

The next time we go to the zoo, we'll pick a cooler day. Most of the animals were hiding in the shade. Keegan really enjoyed pointing out all of the trees though! lol

I'm still not really sure if I enjoyed the whole "bird on the shoulder" experience.

Keegan got to spend time with his cousin Lydia in West Virginia.
As you can see, Keegan not quite as affectionate with her as she is with him.

My beatiful little sister, Aubrey, graduated from high school!
Congrats, sis! I love you a ton!

What Have I Done?

On a whim today I decided that I was tired of trying to keep the rat's nest on the back of Keegan's head tame, and took him for his first haircut. I watched as she cut away at his beautiful curls, and wanted to scream, "STOP, but I knew it was too late. The outcome is cute, but truth be told, I want my babies curls back!
